AHH!! I just cannot even begin to coherently explain how much I absolutely LOVED this book!

 Both Denna and Mare are just amazing. Denna is smart and has a willingness to learn how to make her future kingdom better and a gentle spirit until she needs to defend the ones she loves then she is a force to be recon with. Mare is a headstrong girl who take shit from no one and does as she likes but she is loyal to those she loves, and although disagrees with them she just wants to make her kingdom better without changing who she is. She's a passionate girl who tries to her best for those she loves.

 I cant tell you how many times I yell kiss already!! Both were just amazing! I just loved this books so much. The writing flowed really nicely and the world was easy to just slip into. I loved absolutely everything about this book!

Princess Dennaleia has been arranged to marry Prince Thandilimon of Mynaria since she was a little girl, she also has an affinity for fire magic. When she arrives in Mynaria Denna meets princess Amaranthine who ends up teaching here how to ride a horse, something Mare is very talented at.

 After a murder happens, Denna and Mare have to work together to try and find the killer who may or may not be from another kingdom which uses magic where Mynaria does not. The people in Mynaria with magic are being attacked in the streets by people who believe them to be evil because of there magic.

 As Denna and Mare get closer they soon begin to for feeling for one another but different things are expected from them and threatens to tare them apart.

I read this in mainly one sitting and managed to devour it in a couple of hours and it was worth every single minute.
